LGBTQIA+ Justice
LGBTQIA+ justice is a vital part of the broader fight for human rights and equity. It affirms that all people—regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or expression—deserve to live with dignity, safety, and full participation in society. From the right to access affirming healthcare to protections in employment, education, and public life, LGBTQIA+ rights are essential to building a just and inclusive world.
Yet today, those rights are under renewed attack. Across the U.S., conservative lawmakers are introducing and passing legislation aimed at erasing trans identities, limiting access to gender-affirming care, censoring LGBTQIA+ voices in schools, and rolling back hard-won legal protections. These actions, often fueled by disinformation and political fearmongering, are taking a devastating toll. This toll is especially hard on trans youth, queer people of color, and those already pushed to society’s margins. In this climate, advocacy and allyship are not optional—they are urgent.

Leading the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
We’ve spent more than 40 years creating the most powerful movement for equality our country has ever seen. But despite this progress, our most marginalized are still suffering from violence, discrimination and fear. Our goal is to ensure that all LGBTQ+ people, and particularly those of us who are trans, people of color and HIV+, are treated as full and equal citizens within our movement, across our country and around the world.
