Real change requires more than rallies and marches. Here, we aim to inspire and empower you with knowledge and tools to make Good Trouble in your community.

The Good Trouble Toolkit is organized into four sections, each offering educational content, opportunities for deeper learning, and simple, meaningful actions to help you support justice in your community. It’s designed to empower you with knowledge and practical tools, because educating yourself and choosing to be an upstander is a powerful way to drive lasting change.

We hope this toolkit lives on well beyond the rally as an ongoing resource for community education, connection, and action. As you explore and engage, share what you’re learning. Start conversations, invite others in, and spread the tools. When posting the provided graphics or other content on social media, please tag with #GoodTroubleLivesOnMN to amplify this movement and connect with others doing this work across our community. If you have ideas for new modules or resources, let us know—this is a living toolkit, built by and for our community. Let’s go make some Good Trouble, together!

All people deserve equal access to resources, opportunities, and privileges. All people means ALL PEOPLE, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion or ability.

What can you do to advance social justice? To lift up the marginalized members of our community?

Change takes action. We must all use our voices and our privilege to advocate for the causes that matter most. We must peacefully resist harm to our communities.

Are you new to activism? Want to sharpen your skill set with effective strategies? We would like to empower you!

Get involved! Robust civic engagement means that people take an active role in shaping the policies and governance that impacts their daily life.

We would like to empower you with tools to better understand the systems of governance both at the local and national level, as well as ways to jump in, roll up sleeves, and be a changemaker!

Hold your beliefs and your head high! Now is not the time to sit quietly while those who disagree with you hold the floor. It is time to be vocal and visible, and let those around you know where you stand.

We want to give you tools to share your values in as many ways as you can!
